Sastala – established in 2010, is Africa’s only Solar Thermal Association. We boast membership from local and international entities and are affiliates of parallel associations across the world (like ESTALA which representing Europe).
Sastela membership is a solid group of financially strong developers and investors, supporting the activities of the association aimed at developing and realizing a tangible Renewable Energy industry in the region. We work in partnership with all key stakeholders towards the sustainable growth & development of the African continent.
The South African Photovoltaic Industry Association (SAPVIA) is a registered not-for-profit association representing members largely made up of developers, manufacturers and service providers operating within the Photovoltaic (PV) industry. SAPVIA currently has over 100 registered members. The association is devoted to promoting the growth of South Africa’s solar PV electricity market, and aims to represent the PV industry before provincial and national authorities, as well as inform decision makers as to the current state of the industry, both in South Africa and abroad. SAPVIA strives to work with government to ensure a successful and sustainable implementation of solar renewable energy into our supply mix, and provide a conduit through which communication between industry and government can be channelled.
- Construction Industry Development Board (CIDCB)
Part of our value-added PV services revolve around our dedication to best-practice procedures. This is evidenced in the top-quality machinery we supply, as well as the consistently ethical way in which we conduct our procurements. Furthermore, our association with the construction industry allows us to support local initiatives, promoting transformation within individual organisations, as well as society.
At Energy Spark, we’re able to support renewable initiatives by partnering with authorities in the photovoltaic (PV) industry. These institutions also help us to stay abreast of current technologies, allowing us to enhance the service we offer to businesses and home owners.
